Life is just a flickering candle,
Swaying gently in the breeze.
It can be put out easily
At any given time.
Some bring light to places
That have only see darkness.
Some bring warmth to places
That have only ever felt the cold.
We must protect this candle
So it continues to burn brightly
And brings light and warmth to those we love
And to the rest of the world.
Eventually these candles
Reach the point where they no longer burn.
As one candle ceases to ever burn again,
Another is being lit.
